About
From North Korea to Seoul — exploring fashion, freedom, identity, and the art of becoming.
Hi, I’m Jihyun Kang.
I was born in North Korea, where fashion was never just fashion. Clothes, beauty, and personal style were not always free choices. But fashion made me curious about the outside world — how other women lived, dressed, dreamed, and expressed themselves.
That curiosity eventually led me to South Korea.
In Seoul, I studied fashion, pursued entrepreneurship, founded iFabric, and began creating art as DaGyeol.
This is my personal magazine about the two Koreas, fashion, beauty, Seoul life, art, and the process of becoming someone beyond the borders I was born into.
Here, I write about freedom, identity, culture, beauty, and the many ways a woman can rebuild herself.
Welcome to my world.
